The Carolina Thread Trail is a regional network of trails, blueways, and conservation corridors that will ultimately  reach 15 counties and 2.3 million citizens. It links people, places, cities, towns and attractions. It links lives.

8. Mark Your Calendars: The Next Volunteer Work Day is Jan. 7

In partnership with REI, The Thread will hold a volunteer workday on Saturday Jan. 7, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 7 is also National Winter Trails Day. Click here to read more. 

 

9. Students Find Inspiration on The Thread

Through a program sponsored by The Light Factory called the Earth Exchange Project, 30 local high school students toured and hiked a section of the Little Sugar Creek Greenway. Click here to read more.
